Cobb Computer Club (Ages 8-15)

Kids ages 8-15 are invited to join us for computer games, pizza and fun! Cost is $10 (scholarships are available) Registration is required--space is limited.
Registration on our website will be available at the beginning of the month prior to the Club date. If you are not currently receiving notifications when registration is available, please contact the Cobb office to get on our email list! 770-420-9889.

Online “Open” Support Group for Teens (15-19)

This open group meets on the second Saturday of the month and is for individuals (ages 15-19) who are Autistic or who suspect they are. All AANE-facilitated support groups provide information, connection, and community where participants can share similar issues and concerns and celebrate successes. Groups are designed for the teens only – parents and other family members should not attend the groups.

Advanced registration is required.

Octoberfest

Camp Twin Lakes - Will-A-Way 210 S. Broad Street, Unit 5, Winder, GA, United States

Each fall, FOCUS offers Octoberfest, a one-night camp experience for teens and young adults at Camp Twin Lakes, Will-A-Way. OctoberFest runs from approximately 10AM on Saturday through 3PM on Sunday. Activities include arts & crafts, rock wall, sports, and more!

Online “Open” Community Connection Session for Parents of Children/Teens/Young Adults

This event is to help parents with an Autistic child. If you’re unsure how to provide structure with kids out of school, need some self-care, or if you’re feeling isolated from other adults and the community drop into our community support sessions to connect with other parents via the Zoom online video conferencing links below. Sessions will be facilitated by AANE’s Individual and Family Services staff who know firsthand the need to maintain a balance for ourselves and our children when life brings the unexpected. Advanced registration is required.
